The plaque at the centre of Liverpool Town Hall's Hall of Rememberance. Noel Chavasse's entry in the Rolls is shown below. Strangely, there is no entry in the Roll for Noel's younger brother Aidan, who went missing during a raid on 1st July 1917 - just five weeks before Noel was killed.
I spoke to the attendant in the Town Hall about this and she said she knew that names were missing and that plans to update the Roll are in hand. She couldn't give me anymore details though.
